Always keen for a genuine Disney movie or movie date with my squad. A thank you to the staff member who offered to take our picture. Was very friendly of them, I was still smiling at the kind gesture. Which was a good start to the weekend. And the beginning of a good night. Girls spoilt and obviously enjoying sugary fun. As soon as the movie finished they couldn’t wait to dance. Happy these kinds of facilities are open to contain such wildness. Highly recommend this place and the Disney Film Encanto was very cool!

The place is neat and clean and the seats are comfortable. It's a great place to watch your favorite movies and enjoy your time with your friends. The sound system is great and high quality pictures are displayed. Thank you guys. Keep it up.

I want to take the time to do an awesome shout out to JOSH staff member at Riccarton Hoyts. This guy was outstanding, we had an issue with gift cards and Josh sorted it and made the whole experience easy and also went above and beyond. I hope your boss is reading this because Josh you deserve a pay rise and all the accolades as your customer service is top class and your positive attitude and outstanding customer service will always see you at the top of your field. All the best from a very satisfied customer.

Entx has set a new high standard for luxury at the movies. Smaller closer non-adjustable seats is noticeable at Riccarton now especially when watching a 3 hour movie like Avatar. Always been great staff here though - always warm and friendly.

No security at entrance, no security in cinema. Stinky feet on back on chair and kicking. Shifted seat twice and more stinky feet kicking. Phone call taken in cinema and talking at the back. Under age viewers during last viewing. Expensive food, oversized Pepsi. Would give zero stars if we could. One very disrespectful, expensive experience and potentially unsafe if a fight over seat kicking was to break out. Don't recommend avoid at all costs. I am sure there must a law or two broken running such an unmonitored cinema.

Among the best movie houses in Christchurch. Parking is never an issue. Always have the best selection of movies shown.
