This review is specifically to the Lux experience. The staff is friendly and professional, service is swift and quiet, the food price is a little steep for its portion size, but the solid taste and premium quality make up most of it. My only criticism will be that maybe there could be a better way to display the menu inside the theater, perhaps online not sure if the current menu is available online or not, but we couldn’t find it, irregular customers who’re unfamiliar of the menu can struggle a bit in the dark to decide what to order, other than going out to the lounge to look at the printed menu with proper lighting, or bothering the poor waiting staff with inappropriate amount of unnecessary questions. I think a more accessible and visible online menu can easily solve the trivial problem.
Super comfy recliner seats and, cinema 1 xtereme screen is amazing, Dolby sound system is just awesome for action movies.. Don't worry you can seat anywhere you will get best sound quality.
Expensive but great food and dedicated wait area. Having "room service" in the cinema was also amazing. Chairs like Lay-Z boy so comfy you're likely to fall asleep. May not warrant the cost as a regular but certainly worth a look if you're planning a date.
Great place to entertain the family. I don't think anyone could be bored here. The mini golf is really fun. The games seem to be in good condition as well. We were there when it was quiet, so it was really nice to be able to take our time.
What an amazing complex. Plenty of room to move around between the very comfortable seats and at the push of a button, up goes your legs! LOVED the whole experience as did my 3 yr old Granddaughter!
Wow. The whole self service thing is cool but a big tricky as no prices noted anywhere on view in the area you are selecting so you could potentially get yourself a large Coke, get to counter and discover you cannot afford a large Coke. Prices astronomical too for food. Especially drink as I know what it actually costs to make. Big extreme screen and reclining seats awesome!!!
Came in to change our ticket time to 9PM and the guy behind the till must of set us to 8PM, because the movie was already an hour in. We made sure we went into the right room the worker told us to go to, cinema 5, and we were a bit confused as to why the movie was already underway even though we were right on the dot. Didn’t know we missed an hour until after the film, when we looked it up. I think it’s safe to say that it’s $50 down the drain for about half a movie. EDIT: They were very apologetic about it and gave two complimentary tickets as a refund for the mistake. I’m glad they handled the situation very well
It feels impersonal, the automatic machines don't really build up warmth. Not that you need it to watch movies but with lots of options from more personable theatres it's noticeable.
Good cinema with everything you'd expect, and the reclining seats are fantastic. Marked down for the excessive advertising. On my last visit this weekend to watch wakanda forever, we had to sit through 24 minutes of advertising, incl only one trailer. I understand ads are part of the deal, but making you sit through a whole tv episodes worth is wayyyy too long.
So easy to buy tickets if you have the HOYTS app. Great location in the middle of the city above a food court of all types of food. The xtreme screen has a brilliant picture. 3d watching avatar incredible, once getting used to 3d
