Absolutely awesome! A must to take your children and grandchildren so they can experience life as it used to be many years ago live days are wonderful so they can experience how our ancestors used to cook and bake & taste the difference. Definitely bring a picnic and enjoy the lovely well maintained surroundingsVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
What an amazing and awesome place, we will definitely visit again in the future. This place makes you feel as if you've gone back in time. Great to see such great details, not only that but it is apparent that this place is well maintained.
Nice place to visit on sunny spring time. If you would like to understand Howick history, that's the place you won't miss it. Pleased to know a conservation area in local. Don't miss the Cafe as well, food are delicious!!Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Highly recommend for the whole family. Everyone will find something to do. Lot's of history, beautiful gardens and nice picnic areas to enjoy the views. It's mostly pram friendly. Also has nice Café next door. We'll be back for a "live" day!Visited onWeekendWait time1 hr+Reservation recommendedNo
A living ancient village that truly displays history and culture. There are also some interesting activities for children to spend an afternoon happily. Recommended for families.
It was ad-hoc Saturday afternoon plan for me & my partner to visit this historic place. Loved the easy walk around with a bit of history. Put things into perspective for us. We appreciated more of what’s available to us today.Visited onWeekendWait time1 hr+Reservation recommendedNo
I went on "live sunday" and get to see staff dressing up in characters! I was such a great experience to learn about the Victorian-era. Got to try some bread freshly from oven, engaged in a home-made butter and absolutely love the lesson by Mrs Hamllum in the classroom!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
