Neighbours' Cafe

Love this place as always. It's been almost five years since I visited its previous city branch. The one in East Auckland still serves high quality food. Very flavourful braised pork trotters, and juicy chicken bites. Best place to go for some hearty Taiwanese food.

Authentic Taiwanese cuisine. I've been coming here for many years and the food is consistently great tasting. Sides dishes are a must and if you are game, try the "Smelly tofu". Choose from a variety of noodle or rice dishes and they also do Bubble tea, which is ok

When my family and I have any chance to come over the Botany area, we always try to dine with neighbours' cafe. Surprisingly they are not open to dine in under red traffic light system. Ordered the famous beef noodle soup. Hopefully we can dine in soon to enjoy our meals next time.

Very average food, quite pricey for that portion too. Will visit Hsiun Yuan or Royal Horse if we are craving for Taiwanese Cuisine. Customer service is really bad, the waitress with a red watch strap was so rude, no smile no greeting, didn’t even place our food properly and just walked away. Not going to return again. Love every dishes on the menu! Lovely new renovation with brand new cutleries. Best Taiwanese dishes around proven by time. Quality had moved up another level after the renovation. Highly recommend it for lunch date with yourself to small family dinner!

The beef noodle and the crispy chicken were definitely the stars of the menu. The beef was very tender, the broth not too salty either. Quick turnaround and yummy food.

Great cheap eats in Auckland. Great portions and good flavour. The best part about this restaurant is how clean and bright everything feels.
