HONEY BEE cafe and restaurant

We stayed in the freedom camping spot next to the cafe. It was quiet. apart from the odd vehicle going past. We didn't try out the cafe as we needed to get on the road early.

Very tidy cafe, minimal menu with prices in the upper range even when location is considered. The panini was tasty though. However the person who served me could have been more friendly, her manner was rather impersonal to me & my friends surprise.

Very friendly and happy and warm nice food, very clean reasonable price. Service was good

First day under new management, so thought we'd check it out. Bright, clean space, friendly staff. Great coffee and food big brekkie and eggs bene on a herb rosti

Called in here this morning on my way to Otira , on my touring bicycle . Ordered Cappuccino & G/F Toast . Absolutely Totally Nailed It . The Best Cappuccino & Toast I have had since I left Auckland 7 weeks ago . Had to go back for seconds . Support this establishment . I'm spreading the word .

Had lunch with family today. Lovely meals. Friendly staff. Our coffees were really hot and a lovely warm and clean place. Thank you. Panther family.
