Both of my kids 3 year old and 5 year old were afraid of going into water, however they both look forward to seeing their swimming instructor Julian! He’s incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging, and patient with them. His enthusiasm and genuine caring nature makes it fun and that’s a huge for kids who were totally against going to the swimming lessons.nnCould not ask for a better instructor - in fact, my 5 year old has improved so quickly under his guidance that he’s moved to the next level in less than 3 months this is HUGE considering he wouldn’t even get into the pool on his first lesson and I am going to credit this to Julian’s skills!nnThe ladies at the front desk are alsonamazing - always welcoming and always say hello when we come into the facility. Keep it up Hilton Brown Hobsonville!

My daughter has been to weekly classes with Aleks since she was three months old and we absolutely love her classes. Her energy and enthusiasm is infectious and she made us feel so comfortable from the very first class. She is always so reassuring and helpful when bub is learning new skills or we as parents need encouragement! Absolutely love her she deserves a raise!

Avoid this swim school if you can help it - I'd give it less if I could. Below average instruction from teachers who seem to change very frequently, inconsistent checks on progress, over crowded classes, poor customer service and they encourage their infant teachers to effectively yell at the tops of their voices when training infants. I wouldn't be surprised if permanent hearing loss results!

We spent about 3 or 4 years with Hilton Brown.nThey had this teaching model of teaching kids free style swimming right from early age but they didn't teach how to tread water even when he could swim free style. I did request the teachers but it was ignored. He is 6 and not fully water confident. Treading water is one of the most important elements of water safety. You can't do free style swimming all the time.

I’ve been a loyal customer for nearly 10 years, but I’m very disappointed with how my recent request for a makeup voucher was handled. The terms and conditions are vague and open to interpretation, yet there was no willingness to accommodate me—even just this once.nnA small gesture of flexibility would have gone a long way in keeping a loyal customer happy. Sadly, this experience has left me feeling that my loyalty isn’t valued.
