Wonderful place to stay while in the Greymouth area. Off the beaten path, quiet and very comfortable. Hosts Jolene and Andrew are a pleasure to deal with, full of great conversation and advice for what to do and see in the area. Highly recommended.

This place is a gem. Andrew and Jolene were amazing hosts. We loved the tranquility, size of the cottage, the views, bird song and the evening meal which was absolutely delicious. Great stay have stayed before. Would have given 5 stars but a suggestion would be great tohave a couple of BBQ to use for guests. Also the spa is expensive to use . Understand the preparation for it but maybe make the price to use it lower . As the price for the room is expensive for the area. But overall very clean and tidy place to stay and quiet .

Andrew and Jolene are really helpful, hospitable hosts with interesting background. The property is owned by themselves so they take care by heart. We had a lovely dinner with them which we really enjoyed it. The wall paint is great and color taste is good indeed!nIf you ever come to Greyhound, and tied of standardized hotel experience, this is the great place to stay as it feels home. And also don’t forget to book dinner and hot tub in advance.

What an amazing place to stay. So tranquil and peaceful. No noisy car traffic and glaring street lights. Having said that still only a very short drive from main town centre. We were welcomed by a smiling Jolene who was a pleasure to speak to and answered all our questions about near by attractions. Unlike many other motels or accommodation where you are told here is your key and this is your room number, Jolene escorted us to our room and showed us how everything worked and in my case the TV. The room was beautifully appointed and extremely clean. Meanwhile Andrew her partner was preparing a magnificent a slow roasting Rib Eye Steak on the Smoking BBQ and roasted potatoes and a beautiful salad for a small extra charge which we sat down together and ate. If you are looking for a Outstanding Experience we would Highly recommend this beautiful place to visit and stay. Thank You so much Andrew and Jolene
