Charles Court Motel

Very sad to see. Motels being used to house beneficiaries in dire straights. So much govt money going to waste. Should be building small safe homes to rent to individuals. This idea is like the proverbial p... into wind.

it has a very easy access to the beach with stunning views. The playground is a bit lack of maintenance and looks very dangerous, especially for kids. Also the room configuration is weird. As there are double beds in the lounges and singles in bedrooms. Good for a large family.

Our favourite place to stay over after a trip along the Southern Alps. Comfortable and clean. Lovely Spa Bath. Pool at the BBQ area and the sound of the ocean in walking distance is like music when you sleep. Where they treat strangers like friends "100% yes!"

Mostly good, a bit dated though. Good size room & well equipped with facilities. Neat & tidy with a full kitchen which was great. Bathroom was a bit outdated & not particularly functional as the shower has no base & whole floor ended up wet. Aside from that very good.

We waited for 10 minutes after trying the phone number on the door in the rain before anyone came to help us. The kitchen floor was sticky, the toilet looked like it needed a good dose of bleach. It is no longer a place for tourists to stop.

Pretty disappointed with the room. The bedroom window was broken so it was still open at the top even when the latches were shut so had a to deal with a cold draft and road noise all night long. Turned out our room and in particular the bedroom was right next to the laundry and there were no time restrictions on laundry use so had to listen to dryers through the walls and the open window till late at night. Toilet didn't flush properly and took ages to refill water.

This facility was very spacious with a comfortable queensize bed and two very uncomfortable single beds. Basic. Lots of facilities available apparently. Good parking available. Site has other noisy businesses so not child friendly. Uninsulated. TV interference. Limited free WiFi.

We found this place absolutely appalling. Flying fox is broken and marked with danger tape, playground is falling to bits, rusted and parts have broken broken off due to rot. The pool was a disgusting green colour so the kids were unable to swim in it sadly. In our unit the smoke alarms had been removed and not replaced, the lounge light didnt work as it was blown, the shower nozzle was broken and wouldn't stay up. Complained to management who we found very unprofessional to deal with. The website for this motel clearly needs to be updated to let people know about certain facilities out of action. We definently would have not booked this place if we knew. Will not be staying here again.

Decent overnight stay. Staff are lovely and the location is fantastic however, the rooms are a little dated and are without air-conditioning. Classic 70 bathroom browns. Definitely still great!

A little outdated but great hotel! Everything was very clean. The kitchen had everything you'd need. It would be a great place to stay a few nights in the summer when the pool is warm enough to swim in.
