Came across this lovely b and b after the bad weather left us stranded nearby. I have never before seen a b and b jump into action the way these two owners did. After hearing of our troubles they got us all a hot drink and a seat and said we could use their drying facilities if needed. Not being the only folk stranded the b and b took in the people they could and set everyone up as comfortably as they could facilitate in the circumstances! Even though they were a small a b and b with a large booking that day they got everyone a place to sleep. They also offered breakfast at 2 courses for 13 pounds the quality of food was honestly astounding. Two people taking on that amount of work and the heart that was in it really restored our faith that there is good people out there. Came across by chance but honestly a real gem and we will be going back! Unlike other places jacking their prices right up when they realised the situation people were left in which is honestly shocking given the circumstances. Nice genuine honest people with good hearts.

Stumbled across this place whilst driving. It turned out to be a hidden gem and the best evening of our holiday. The service was outstanding. Every course was delicious and obviously prepared with care. The facilities were spotless. If you are looking for a warm Scottish welcome and outstanding food I highly recommend Glenorchy Lodge.
Visited the lodge for an evening meal whilst passing through the area. I don’t usually write reviews but felt compelled for this place as it was truly exceptional! The staff and service was brilliant- so friendly and welcoming and the food was top notch. As another reviewer has said - the menu undersells the food. I was expecting a standard pub meal but this is way above that in quality. I had the pork fillet and my partner had the rob roy chicken. Both were outstanding and more like fine dining/high end restaurant quality than the menu suggests. If you are ever in the area and want an outstanding meal then I would highly recommend the lodge.
First time out in a year, we were all excited to go to our local for a meal. We all really loved it, food was fantastic and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. I had the burger, best burger I've ever eaten. Really can't praise it enough. It's so good having a great pub on our doorstep.
We stopped for dinner while driving from Oban to Glasgow. We cannot recommend the restaurant enough. The friendliest, warmest welcome that we’ve received in Scotland Thank you so much Callum. We ordered the steak pie and Lazy Rob Roy chicken. Both were outstanding! The meat in the pie was excellent quality, the pastry was flaky and delicious, accompanying veg was local and varied not just peas! and fantastically seasoned. The chicken was succulent with a lovely crisp skin, the whisky sauce and haggis were so tasty. Don’t waste your time looking for anywhere else to eat, go here, you will not be disappointed.
We stayed a few days in Dalmally, keeping it as a base for visiting the surrounding area. Glenorchy Lodge is a lovely place, the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable !!! The owners Nik and his mother are very welcoming and helpful people .. they gave us a lot of information on what to do. Also the breakfast was fabulous!! Highly recommended
Stopped here for a bite to eat. The owners William and Sally made us very welcome. Service was friendly and attentive. A good choice of menu. The food was terrific. Recommend the steak strips on mustard mash, with a wonderful sauce. The soup and fish cake starters were also great. Rooms are also available. Definitely making a stop there next time we are in the area.
A wonderful restaurant staffed by a very friendly couple! The food was absolutely delicious, everything from Venison lasagna to Lamb Rump, and finishing it off with fresh Mango cheesecake--Delicious! By far the best meal we ate in Scotland, and served by the most hospitable people. Reservations not needed, but helpful in making sure they are ready for your arrival.
Had a very stressful travel experience due to our ferry being canceled. However, the staff here were so helpful and attentive with our late, emergency booking! Lovely hotel with clean and comfortable facilities. Would love to stay here again. Nikita was amazing, so thankful for their help!
