The Ultimate Self-Drive Adventure for all ages. Take charge of our electric 4WD off road vehicles, loaded with interactive GPS technology to explore this pristine wilderness at your own pace. Discover the area's surprising wildlife, history and geology, while enjoying the breathtaking scenery used in some of New Zealand's most iconic movies. Tours depart daily at 10am and 2pm.

A wonderful experience! NZ Tourism at it's finest. Andy has done an amazing job at setting this all up, I can not recommend enough! Wish I could give Andy a rating higher than 5 stars. This unique experience on the Electric ATV's is definitely one for the memory bank. Absolutely stunning scenery along the Dart River, and such a super fun way to experience it. Thanks so much Andy.
We had a lot of fun taking two of Andy’s ATVs for five of us at a very reasonable price. Andy is very attentive. He explained in details on how to operate the ATVs following the GPS. He also painted markers on the route to help us not to go off track. The sceneries were spectacular. The tracks were interesting but not too challenging. The track was rather flat so it was not too bumpy. We took a lot of photos on the way and totally enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this.
This experience was so much more than I could have expected. Such and incredible set up! Andy is a very smart cookie and was so good at explaining how it all worked to make it such a great time for us! Even the weather played the perfect part. Would HIGHLY recommend this!
I cannot recommend the 4x4 enough. We have an 18 month old and this was the only adventure plan we found that catared to us. The cars were very comfortable and the route was easy to follow and drive. Andy was very accommodating and easy to contact. This was the highlight of our stay in Queenstown. The views are breathtaking!
We had such an amazing day, Andy was a lovely guy. Help us with my daughter who has a disability, made her feel so welcome. The ride was so much fun, up and down over rocks, water and sand. The buggy was very safe and sturdy. All is gps guided so u won’t get lost. Heaps of room for 3 adults and two containers in the tray to hold ur stuff. Great photo opportunities. Highly recommend
Had the whole track to ourselves. Very beautiful ride and surroundings. Andy the owner, was very accomodating and we felt really safe with all the tech he’s got on his bunk. Must do activity when in Glenorchy.
Absolutely incredible experience and one of the highlights of my trip to Glenorchy. I went on the self drive UTV tour and loved that you get to go by yourself without an instructor and go at your own pace. The track is set up well and there's amazing spots you can stop at along the way to enjoy and take pics. The owner is a super lovely and chill guy. Thanks again for the fun day!
Highly recommend. Amazing photo opportunities and Andy is lovely and patiently explains everything you need to know. You also get bits of interesting information on local birdlife and surrounds. Being self guided, you can stop to take in the amazing scenery whenever the mood strikes.
Do not miss exploring the Dart river with Delta Discovery. We absolutely loved this experience! Andy was amazing and made sure the weather and the river levels were safe for us to do all the crossings. We took all the time in the world to explore guided by the 4x4 GPS system. Really simple rules, quiet vehicle and fun! Thanks Andy! We had a blast.
Would definitely recommend this experience as a MUST do activity around Queenstown /Glenorchy. 4x4 is fun to drive and  It's great to be able to go at your own pace and stop whenever you want to enjoy the amazing scenery. Host Andy is absolutely awesome, super friendly, helpful & informative. He made every effort to make sure we got the most out of the experience :
