Four14 Espresso

Not been here for a few years and was pleasantly surprised. Great little outdoor area at the back sitting in the sun. Food was nice with fresh flavours.

The food is most definitely not what it once was.. portion sizes have decreased while the price continues to climb.. presentation isn't what it once was either.. when wait staff where told ohh we have a new chef... im really sorry... the apology want sincere, nor did it come across genuine.. extremely disappointed..nn2 pictures of how the food was and 1 picture of what it is now

This little pocket of a place was amazing so, after buying my daughter and I some food, my wife suddenly rang me and asked for a coffee and some gluten-free food if they had any well indeed they did, I ask for one item then lovely woman serving asked me if she was a coeliac, and I said yes she in that instant proceeded to put on gloves and continued with the order, I gotta say that was pretty cool, and let's not bypass the fact that food is amazing and the people are too.

We came here for lunch. Cabinet food is soooooo expensive $14.50 for a roast vegetable frittata and $12.50 for a toasted sandwich. Wow, it was so small, basically 2 slices of bread and hardly any filling. Shame. Quite cold inside, even with heaters on. Coffee was good but took too long to come out and so did our food. Screw hanging out of one of the tables, which my son caught his pants on. Told staff who weren't that concerned. Overall, it was very disappointing.

This cafe has a good selection of homemade pies, winter soups, sweats, savouries, salads - as well as a set menu of breakfast and lunch options. Coffee is always very good and staff are friendly and welcoming. 414 Espresso is one of my favourite local cafes to visit.
