Elm Cafe

Lovely cafe, nice food and atmosphere. Love the french toast with extra banana on the side. Good portion and yum. Outdoor seating recommended on a nice day.

Very lovely staff. Nice food, well presented. Freshly made hollandaise sauce. I'll be coming back again.

The food was delicious and the staff served us was very warm and welcoming.

Average experience. Ordered the French toast - the bread had a bite to it as though it wasn't fresh. The menu also mentions cinnamon but there was barely any flavour of cinnamon in the dish, and the presentation was meh at best. My friend ordered the potato stack - the potato could have used more seasoning, the portion size was very small even for a cafe, and the mushrooms were just thrown on the plate. Once again nothing special. Their lemon ginger tea was nice, probably the best thing we ordered. Don't think I would visit again.

Worst cafe in NZ! Been travelling around NZ for 2weeks and this is the first time we've received bad attitude, the lady with weird eyelashes. The food and coffee is just as bad, the pricing is overpriced as well, im surprised there's people going to this cafe...
