Ekim Burgers

Such a great little spot, very unique and easy going. The burgers are simply amazing, such a wide range of choice. All the ones that I've tried have been absolutely delicious. I'm a huge fan of the "big John". Really worth checking out if you are in Wellington. Top marks all around!Food: 5/5

Amazing food and atmosphere, well worth the trip from out of town. If u want a great place to eat with amazing presentation and quality I recommend. Best burger I have ever had and the service was super quick. I recommend the Kranskys. Affordable for the quality 10/10

Had the Ekim Original and the Esther. While this place was really hyped for us, we were not very impressed. The Ekim lacked in flavour and salt, though at least it still had a smokey flavour. The Esther was better, because of the beetroot relish which gave it some nice sweetness. Both burgers had very soft buns which tend to disintegrate, but on the plus side, the cheese had a very nice melt and pull. The fries were very good tho and the waiting time was short! Unfortunately, they don’t sell alcohol. It was worth to try it out, but not interested in seconds.

Perfect for affordable and casual dining. Had the Mom burger which had a spicy chickpea patty. The bun did get very soggy though. I'd recommend seeing if they could toast them. But overall was a great place.

Funnily enough this place has the best beef burger I’ve had in welly, one of the cheapest too. For under $10 get your hands on a juicy, cheesy, saucy and reliable burger that’ll satisfy every burger need you’ve ever felt. Cannot wait for my next one. Come for the burger and stay for the minimal ambiance and strange seating. Love this place

Really like this place. Good prices for the burgers you get. Super tastey. Then venue is pretty vibey as well. I got a Beefy Pete. At the time of the review 24/12/2022, the price is $11 so pretty good. I've attached a picture of the menu from today's date, so go hard!Food: 5/5

Amazing quality burgers and great quantity too match! Super affordable and even more filling for the price, the feeling of Ekim is very chill/unique with good service and music to help make your experience worth while.

Love the burgers- not the special sauce so much— but I’m not a sauce person. They happily keep it off or put it to the side. I’ve got to try some of the other menu items — but it’s hard to get past the burger and fries Quick and friendly service. Good casual outdoor seating.

This is a no frills burger place serving delicious burgers for a fair price. Service is basic and seating is "rustic". Don't expect restaurant or cafe level service and most of the seating is uncovered. But the burgers are good and for the prices charged, they deserve an excellent rating and I would happily return.Food: 5/5

I've been meaning to go to Ekim for a while and finally got around to it. This place is amazing!! The burger Pills Rob was definitely one of the best I've ever had and I'm a chef so I'm quite picky, the young man serving was friendly and did a great job whacking out a bunch of burgers quickly. In fact it's so good I'm drooling as I type. I'm going back right now to try a different burger. Do it, you won't regret it!
