Dress for Success Christchurch Incorporated is a non-profit organisation that was established in Christchurch in June 2003.
Dress for Success is a not for profit charity which provides free, high quality clothing and accessories, plus confidence and grooming advice, to low income and unemployed women entering the workforce.
Dress for Success provides a suite of services:
Dressing Programme
Proving appropriate clothing and accessories, advice on presentation, hair and makeup, confidence, interview tips and other helpful suggestions for interviews/workplace
On gaining employment the client receives a second dressing and another complete outfit and they will also receive a small gift to acknowledge their success.
Career Centre
Woman who have not gained employment, or who are training will also have access to the Dress for Success Career Centre, an initiative that promotes confidence and professionalism.
Professional Women’s Group (PWG)
Membership is offered to clients where available, once they gain employment. Clients attend monthly meetings and once a woman has attended three meetings they are accepted as a full member.
