Dragonfly

We had the most fabulous meal last night at Dragonfly. Everything was delicious, from the cocktails and wine, to the mouthwatering dishes. Our only regret is we’re not staying longer in Wellington so we could visit again tonight Their Dragonfly gin is refreshing, and the cocktail Ginger Kiss is that kiwi treat in a glass We will be visiting again next time we make it back, such a gem in the Wellington dining scene

Awesome Asian fusion cuisine, in an awesome restaurant in central Wellington. Food was quick to our table of 10, beautifully cooked and presented. A great array of cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Vegetarian options: A good couple of items per menu category. Entree, main, sides

Asian fusion restaurant. Great for a date night, birthday, valentines day etc. More suited for couples and groups as opposed to families. I recommend the meow club cocktail, the dumplings, fried chicken, and pork belly.

Really lovely Welly restaurant in Courtney place. The cocktails were yum, half price for the classics. Service was great we had a two hour slot allocated and food was delicious. The mains are really generous.Food: 5/5

I've been here twice now and the first time was amazing food wise. We can back again a month or two later and this time the fried chicken was dry and tough compared to last time. The chocolate mousse dessert has both times been amazing, I would recommend sharing it even though it is small as it's very rich and delicious. Staff are friendly but a few times they walked off before I could order a second drink but that's ok. One thing I have with this place is they only give you chopsticks which is fine except for trying to eat the fried rice we took turns using the serving spoon to eat it in the end. Restaurant is beautiful inside but we always seemed to be placed in the very front of the restaurant not in the middle with the lovely mood lighting. I would also recommend not booking for 5pm as that's their opening time and beforehand they won't let you in and then there's a stampede at 5pm. Dietary restrictions: They have a celiac menu also as their gf dishes are cooked in same oil as other gluten items

What an amazing experience, who knew that this amazing place with the most beautiful scenery’s and the most relaxing vibe, could be tucked away behind such a busy street. Busy place with amazing food. Even though the place was full on a Friday night, exceptional food and excellent service. Was really impressed, would definitely recommend for an Asian infusion of flavors.Food: 5/5

Went one night just for cocktails and the following night for food and more cocktails. Sensational for both. Super fresh flavors for the food as you would expect. We shared an entree, had separate mains and shared a dessert. Definitely no more food or sides required. Cocktail list was extensive with unique ones that we couldn't fault. Fast and attentive service.
