Cute wee bar. Tucked away around beside duck island and fix and Fogg. We only had one cocktail here but was delicious! Nice and different with the alcohol literally hanging. Chilled vibe with dimmed lights and comfy seats. Decor is definitely more old fashioned and hangs on being dirty but they pull the style off.
A cocktail lovers MUST visit in Welly! Real drinks that aren’t just a shot of alcohol mixed with juice. They will talk to you about what you like and come up with a drink you’ll love if you’re unsure or want to try something off the menu. Super friendly service, chill quiet environment perfect for date night!. They even let you bring in pizza from Pizza Pomodoro which is in the same alleyway! if you don’t want one of their yummy toasties. Wish I was wealthy enough to visit every day!
Loved the vibe. Relaxed. Friendly. Bouncing bottles of delicious alcohol choices hanging from the ceiling. Great character spot. Ate the "Everything Toastie" $14... Best toastie I have ever had. Could not be improved. atmosphere was awesome. Easy place to talk without having to yell. Definitely returning.
A cute little cocktail bar tucked away on Hannah’s lane, we cannot recommend this enough! With high tables, large tables and sofas to choose from, you can be comfy or lively depending how you’re feeling! From the menu we tried the You and Me on VHS whisky cocktail, the tequila ditch and the White chocolate cocktail with wasabi called Eutrema Dreamer it was like an after eight with alcohol as well as an off menu Negroni! All were top notch and we left feeling very merry!
Nice atmosphere, super friendly service with a lot of knowledge in what he's doing. Unfortunately i wasn't really happy with my espresso martini there you could have some more improvements about the creamyness. Beside that we had a nice evening and I could totally recommend it.
A hidden gem tucked away in Wellington! An amazing selection of unique cocktails partnered with chill cozy vibes. Will definitely come again
Cocktails were below average. Dusty decor and the bartender was helping herself to a couple of drinks while we were in there. Not sure how that fits into their host responsibility policy. Cheese platter was the worst cheese platter I’ve ever had.
The pastrami toastie here changed my life. The pickles are so scrumptious and the sundried tomatoes compliment the salty pastrami and the creamy cheese and I’m in love with this gorgeous toastie. The cocktails are pretty great too. But the toastie has my heart

We remember our very first visit to Hanging Ditch to witness the magic of their iconic hanging bottles, & the novelty still hasn't worn off. A gorgeous setting, for proper drinks, properly made.Service: 5/5
