Gentle, caring Dentistry for the whole family. We treat all ages to keep your family smiling.
My name is Bridget Heer. I grew up in Cromwell and also attended my last three years at high school at Queens. I've never really left Dunedin and now live in the lovely community of St Clair with my husband, Conrad, and our children, Meg (15 years) and Sam (12 years).
I graduated almost 20 years ago from the Otago School of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Wanting to remain in Dunedin, I first worked as a Dental House Surgeon with the Dental School and Dunedin Public Hospital. Since then I have worked in private practice, in most areas of dentistry, in both Dunedin and also during a four year excursion to Waiheke Island. I have also worked in the Hospital Dentistry Department at the School of Dentistry, where I particularly enjoyed working with medically compromised patients. Having spent all my dental working life working for someone else and with the children growing we recently purchased Dentistry on Musselburgh.
Dentistry on Musselburgh already has a great reputation as a place for gentle, caring dentistry for the whole family. The philosophy of treating the whole family and taking care of your teeth and gums to improve your overall health is completely aligned with my own style and philosophy of dentistry. The practice is well equipped with the latest technology including minimal radiation digital x-rays and each surgery is fully computerised. Emergencies and walk-ins are welcome and the staff do their very best to accommodate patients in need.
Saleema Reeves, dentist (and previous owner), has been working from this practice for over 25 years and continues to serve new and existing patients. Saleema prides herself on sound patient relationships that endure the test of time and high quality work using excellent products. This is provided in the relaxed, friendly, caring atmosphere of Dentistry on Musselburgh. Saleema’s overall approach is holistic and she has a balanced approach, always addressing the cause as well as the symptoms.
The team at Dentistry on Musselburgh are thrilled to announce that experienced dentist, Christian Morgan, will be joining us permanently. Both Bridget and Saleema have previously worked with Christian. Christian has worked at Dentistry on Musselburgh before as a locum and so is well known and liked by our staff. Christian has also worked at the School of Dentistry alongside Saleema and Bridget.
Christian is originally from Wales. He studied Dentistry in Bristol and has over ten years experience in hospital/community dentistry and general dentistry. Christian enjoys the variety of dentistry in a family practice and finds satisfaction from making anxious patients more comfortable. Away from the dental clinic Christian can usually be found either tinkering with old cars, on the side lines of the school rugby grounds or at the park with his young family.
