Denny's

This American fast food is new to me, though it has been operating for a long, long time. Can't get this restaurant in my home country, Malaysia. I was surprised by the variety of food found here, and they were good. The meals we ordered were balanced with meat, vegetables and salad. Quite a big helping, price wise, it's worth the money. We had the bbq pork ribs, beef lasagne, and grilled chicken with lemon and herbs. Service was fast and we didn't wait long for our food.

I have always loved Denny’s. Tonight they had warning signs that they might be a bit slow due to illness causing lack of staff but in fact it was really good. We were served by the lovely Luatimu. She took our order quickly and accurately, refilled my coffee and checked that everything was ok. All with a lovely smile. We loved our food. Thank you Denny’s. In a nice area with plenty of parking. The usual Denny's experience where the food is okay, portions are super generous and their dessert is absolutely delicious! Service was really fast and the staff there were all lovely. Definitely a good place to go for a casual meal where you know you'll get the same experience always.Food: 4/5

All of our meals were really nicely cooked. Everyone was happy with what they ordered and there was nothing but compliments for the chef. I ordered the Surf n Turf & the meat was cooked to perfection. The one thing that could be improved on was that it was a little bit gritty & so I had to cut off a few bits. The customer service was really good from the time we walked in to paying at the end. Each time we go to Denny's in Christchurch they are improving on the last time. Thanks.

We came here for lunch. The bacon and banana pancakes were delicious. My wife enjoyed the curly fries. They were both reasonably priced as well. The service was very kind and friendly. At lunch time there was a number of people in the restaurant but still plenty of empty tables to choose from. A lovely family friendly environment. We would go back again. Kid-friendliness: High chairs readily available for kids. Accessible for prams. Generally good environment for kids. Parking: Dennys has its own on site parking which would fit about 20 cars. Wheelchair accessibility: There are accessibility carparks and the restaurant is double doored and on flat ground.

I fell in love with pizzas from Denny's 5 years ago in Auckland and happy to find it in Christchurch. I always ordered their pizza, but pizzas are not available from their menu now. The salmon skillet is beautifully cooked in a sizzling pan with mushroom, tomato, potato, broccoli and spinach. The staff are friendly and often come to check our requests. Parking: parking is easy.

American style dinner with a great family atmosphere. I never made a reservation so I had to wait until a table was free. Denny's is quite big and always busy. I waited for about 30 minutes before my order came through. My overall experience was still very good, staff were very apologetic for the long delay as they were rushing around serving a busy crowd. If I come back to Christchurch, I will definitely come back Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian menu that you can choose from. Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu available and during my time there there was a kids birthday party. Parking: Very limited car park which could fit at least 15 cars, you be lucky if you get a park. There is free street parking but very limited because Deny's is located by the traffic light's, so you may have to walk a long way.

Staff was good, my partners and i's food was ready in 10mins. I ordered the Premium Burger, so big i had to split my burger in half to eat it... She was happy with her mushroom rump streak. Also dined in after 9pm new years day which was a plusFood: 5/5
