We stopped by to grab some breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at the availability of food items as well as products for sale. There were ready to eat meals as well as specialist products like cooking oils and syrups. I tried the almond croissant and hot chocolate. The croissant was ok. The chocolate was nice. It had a nice flavour and the marshmallow sweetened it quite well. There were quite a few small tables and a single larger one so it could be hard to larger groups.
New owners came after a long time and it's our first time back since. Was glad to see more seating. Food and amazing coffee full marks, nice changeover of cabinet with combination of vegan and meat. It was nice, and The owners were lovely and they still sell great sourdough bread.Food: 5/5
New owners took over in late 2022 and it's our first time back since. Was glad to see more seating. I wouldn't give the food full marks, but it was nice and could not fault drinks. Not great for vegans, on the day there were only sweets options. Owners were lovely and they still sell great sourdough bread. Parking: You can usually find a park quite close but if busy may need to walk a little bit.
Very good food, excellent coffee. New management has made the place look bigger and fresher by removing all old as stuff that made the place look tired.Food: 5/5
Came here for a pie and coffee. Both were delicious. Great atmosphere and the staff were so friendly! Def me and my wifes new local
We had a great time here this morning. Fabulous strong coffee, friendly team and delicious food. Will definitely be back fo get our fill of chicken pasties sausage rolls and sweet treats.
This was our 2nd visit and we will definitely be back again Food and super friendly service was absolutely amazing
Place must have changed ownership... Purchased two small quiches, a ham cheese tomato croissant, and a small cheesecake. $31. First quiche looked fresh and tasty in the display window, but when I got home and opened the bag, it looked and smelled like it was a week old. The dog wouldn't even eat it. $7.50. The plastic cheese and single end piece of tomato paired with processed ham in the croissant was dissapointing for $8. Cheesecake was good, packaged as if it was made elsewhere Won't be heading back.
New owners have put coffee prices up exorbitantly, charged me $7 for an oat milk flat white. I don’t even pay that much in central Newmarket. Won’t be going back, it’s a rip off.
2 happy family groups in place when I came in . All coffees doubles. Character filled. Great coffee and food. Found in Te,Atatu peninsula . Demolition Deli overlooks an interesting streetscape. Friendly big table and staff
