The Community Reuse and Recycling Centre is a place run by the community, for the community to help Taranaki reduce waste going to landfill.
The Community Reuse and Recycle Centre is the entrance to the New Plymouth Resource Recovery Facility. This area is about to be developed and will be designed to facilitate maximum waste diversion from landfill. We would like It to be welcoming to the public and inspire a high degree of community engagement. To achieve this, the Council wants to hear from any one that might like to be involved in the development and operation in any or all of the following activities: reuse shops, public reuse drop off area, e-waste recycling depot and education spaces.
