On The House was started to create a space for the community to interact, build relationships and to serve free surplus food to those in need. We are part of the Free Store Movement in New Zealand and are completely run by volunteers.
We collect food that would otherwise go to waste and redistribute it to those who identify themselves as in need from a central location.
We can be found in the carpark beside 109 Devon St W in New Plymouth (across from TSB Showplace). We're open Mondays 4:30-5:30pm. Our test pilot will run from November 13 to December 18 2017.
