Wonderful owners, beautiful rooms. So clean and warm. The only motel I would recommend in Tokoroa. Thank you for saving me from the absolute dump that was Mayfair court motel. Clifton Court was a fabulous little motel
The room was clean and the heater was on when I entered the room, so it was warm. There was also a lazy boy in the room, which gave me a good rest after a day of driving. It is very close to the town center, less than 5 minutes' walk away, and there are many places to eat. I will choose this motel to stay in the future.
We are a group of 6 people on a business trip and recently stayed in Clifton Court Motel in late October 2024. It was our first time staying at this motel. The location is so handy that we could easily walk to almost everything within 5-10 minutes including supermarket, restaurants, the Council, CBD shops, and all amenities. The rooms are very clean, spacious and beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. The parking spaces are huge. In particular, the hosts Anne and Mark are very friendly, welcoming and professional. We arrived and checked in quite late and they got everything ready for us and they have even printed out invoices for us. This is an extremely pleasant stay, much better than most of our business trip accommodations. Whenever we visit this area in the future, we will definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this top quality motel to everyone, business men/women in particular.
I stayed here just prior to Christmas until Boxing Day. Check in was easy and rhe rooms very clean. Would stay again. Highly recommend
I turned up at 6pm in the cold and the rain and was made to feel extremely unwelcome. I wasn’t allowed into the office instead i had to pay for the four rooms outside infront of the office … on my credit card, even though i had over $750 in cash to give.nnThe owners were incredibly rude.nnI have never felt more unwelcome at a motel and looked down upon. Whether that was because i was with polynesian colleagues, i will never know.
