What a great place! Would recommend to anyone stopping over in Tokoroa. Our room was clean and fresh with great decor. It had everything we needed for our single night stay. Plenty of parking and only a few minutes walk to the town centre. Will not hesitate to book our stay again.
Great experience close to everything walking distance supermarket park and the chilly air. And if you like cats she's a big softy. Smoking only outside with ashtrays. Plenty room for the kiddies with a trampoline. 4 day stay. . Rooms are done daily.Rooms: 5/5

Comfortable Rooms Marred by Unprofessional Management "While the rooms at this motel remain a comfortable choice, my recent stay was marred by challenges that need attention. Unfortunately, the previous review addressing WiFi issues seemed to have sparked an uncomfortable interaction with the owner during my visit. Such experiences detract significantly from an otherwise pleasant stay and can create an unwelcoming atmosphere. The conduct during this interaction left much to be desired. As a frequent traveler, I've rarely encountered such confrontational behavior from management in the industry. In an effort to be fair, I chose not to post the previous review, hoping to observe improvements during subsequent visits. However, my attempt to make a new reservation was met with disappointment, as the management denied the booking without offering specific reasons. This experience has left me questioning the professionalism of the management and their commitment to addressing concerns. Despite these issues, the rooms themselves remain a viable option for accommodation. However, for a motel to truly excel, it is crucial to foster a positive and guest-friendly environment. An improvement in the handling of guest concerns, open communication, and transparent booking procedures would undeniably enhance the overall experience for patrons."
Arrived after dark to a cosy warm room, the panel heater turned on prior to my arrival. Loved the one bedroom unit which had everything I needed, small kitchen, comfortable warm bed, main & bedroom tv's, great shower. And could park the car right outside the unit! A supermarket nearby, short walk to the town centre. Would happily recommend Clifton Court.
Great place! Room was super clean, tidy, and comfortable and the bed was nice. In the middle of town. Definitely recommend here if you’re staying over night.Rooms: 5/5
The motel & room was fantastic, all facilities was close by our cabin.The room was very clean & a nice clean fragrance inside the room. The receptionist was very kind. i highly recommend this motel & I will always return thank you for having me & my whanau TC TE MONI. NOTE: Mobil gas station right next door easy access for fueling up when ready to check out Rooms: Beautiful the minute we stepped into the rooms thank you. Nearby activities: Outside BBQ tables a swing that our granddaughter played on & a trampoline. Did think it could do with extra playground amenities. On the other side of the main road it did have a skate arena and huge playground which topped of the Motel
I stayed here for my nans passing. I firstly stayed alone in a 1 bedroom room, then moved into an upstairs room once further family arrived the next night. The owner came to let me know I was able to move into the room earlier as they had got it cleaned etc… thank you for the amazing service. As the sign says “Number 1 in Tokoroa” rooms have a modern feel, beds are comfortable, very clean and everything in good working order.
Rooms - Modern and clean rooms. Service - If you look on their website the About Us caption reads 'We strive to make your stay an enjoyable one, and look forward to welcoming you soon'. Sadly myself and some of my family experiencd an unprovoked cold welcome. Many of us are well traveled, and have never encountered a poor welcoming. The cleaner was very pleasant and helpful Location: Great location, Mobile station next door, across the road kids park, Countdown, local swimming pool. Walking distance Warehouse, BK, KFC, McDonald's, town centre, and Sports ground. Recently my niece and aunty stayed there. They had a very bad experience with the proprietors of the motel. I highly wouldn't recommend this place. One star for service is way too high, but I cannot remove it. However, the cleaner was wonderful and great at her job. If you ever have a bad experience with the proprietors remember you have rights, take photos and videos if need be, and check out the CAB Citizens Advice Beaureau website for the Consumer Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act, when you stay in short-term holiday accommodation.
No real expectations - just an available Motel. So, nice and handy, but lovely and quiet, even tho on main road. Met by Ann and very kindly, clear explanations. Took me to the room, further explanation briefly. Spotless interior, plenty of room for me - single. All amenities that I needed, and easily available. Cheerful and sincere farewell in morning. Thank you - I'd certainly return.
