We came on a Wednesday night for dinner, as this place is always busy in the weekends for Yum Cha and dinner. The food came out quickly and was really good value for money. The portions are big and the food tasty. Service was good. Parking can be challenging here if it's full.
Nice place, better than i expected and was busy enough for mid week evening dinner. We enjoyed the Peking duck, nice crispy skin but the second course lettuce wraps was just ok. Overall I'd still come back to try more dishes.
Went to Chow Foo Albany earlier for Yum Cha lunch. Everything was amazing! I have been there 3 times now, and it has been consistently good. Highlights were the turnip cake, prawn and chive dumplings, and siu mai, definitely worth a visit!
Nice yum cha Good selection Reasonably priced Duck was the high light of the meal, deliciously fresh, crispy skin and full of flavor.
The best dim sum we have eaten in NZ. The price is reasonable and the dinning experience is good. Highly recommended.
Yumcha was quite good. Could be a little more flavourful. Service was good.
Came here more than once already, this place has pretty decent yum char dim sum. Service was pretty bad though, waitresses who tries to push you into ordering things although we didn't want it, no one to come fill up the teapot so we had to go fill it ourselves, time limit of 1 hour as soon as we arrive. I can see why this place doesn't attract any European diners at all, but for Asian culture I guess we don't care about the service as much. Price here is alright, I really think we should get at least 1 hour and a half to dine, so we can actually try more things. I also think more coordination between the wait staffs could make this a more efficient place, as right now I think they are all doing their own things and walking at any direction, so although a lot of staff but they aren't doing much. Probably would be better switching to an order and serve system instead of the cart, so the food will be hotter and the staff actually can go around clearing table and refilling teapots in a more sufficient manner.
Went there for lunch with some friends and was happy with the meal. Most of the dishes we ordered were delicious. The only let down was the Peking duck dish. The Peking duck itself was really good with crispy skin, however, the wrapping was a bit dry and hard. Other than that it was a really good meal.Food: 4/5
DO NOT ORDER THE SEAFOOD LAKSA . It’s a frozen bag of seafood marinara in a muddy pool of curry and thick noodles from here to China. Honestly how can you charge good money for not good food in return and know it’s not good. I even read the reviews before I went to get an idea of the overall experience. And never again will I treat myself to food I can cook better at home and you can too! Very very disappointed in the food. It looks tempting. But how can you expect the big things to be right if they can’t get the little things right.
Enjoyed a nice yum cha lunch here today. All the food we had was very good. Nice flavour and texture. Service was also very good. Definitely going back for more.
