Chok Chai Thai Otahuhu

First visit ever and we were a bit skeptical before going. We were pleasantly surprised. Great hosts. Aunty was very friendly and made sure we were looked after. The food was definitely one of the best Thai foods we have had. Definitely more authentic than most out there. We will definitely go back and try different dishes.

Ordered Pad Thai for take away. Good flavour and a portion size. However, it was mainly noodles. Very few mung beans, 2-3pieces of chives and few bits of tough chewy beef on top.

Really good Asian restaurant with 'A' food safety grade certificate. Inside the restaurant the atmosphere is warm and nice. Friendly staff and price of alcohol is also reasonable. Price of food is also reasonable. Parking on street. They also accept phone orders. Must visit.

Been ordering pad thai takeaway from here and always get 2 meals out of it. Cheap and tasty, highly recommend for trying out.

I actually don't like Thai food at all but being pregnant I've had weird cravings. We absolutely loved every single thing we ordered and the quality and quantity was moneys worth. Even during covid its so nice to be able to support local business in our area. Definitely a new fave spot for us.
