Chocolate Dayz Cafe

In the two weeks that we stayed in Eastbourne, we ate here 4 times for breakfast/brunch. I had the Salmon Benedict twice and the Big Breakfast twice. Each were so very delicious! The poached eggs were perfect each time. I almost forgot that one time I shared a baklava with my wife. I should have made get her own. I also had coffee there. Also very excellent. I did have some trouble deciphering the coffee menu, but the owner was very patient in explaining the terminology. Besides the wonderful food, the view across the street of the ocean is beautiful.

Best salmon Benedict I’ve had in Wellington. Plus the views of the harbour are amazing and the owner is very friendly.

Beautiful Cafe with outdoor and indoor. we had moussaka and ice chocolate which was amazing.

Great coffee. The food has some lovely Turkish flavors and makes an interesting change from standard cafe fare. Service is really welcoming and friendly. Love coming here.

Popped in for a quick lunch today. We hadn’t been for a while and didn’t realise it was under new ownership. An awesome new Mediterranean inspired menu and the food was delicious! Will definitely be returning again soon to try more of the dishes. A much needed and refreshing option for Days Bay!
