Caffiend

Wonderful place for lunch. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, the service was excellent! Every staff was friendly and welcoming. There were a wide variety of counter food and cooked food to choose from. The place was tastefully furnished giving it a very nice ambiance. Table were placed a good distance away from one another, giving customers privacy and space. You cannot hear conversations from another table. There was both indoor and outdoor seats to choose from. For December, street parking is free, making it even more attractive! Love the BLT, waffles and vegetable & chicken soup. I didn’t manage to take all the food we ordered like the fluffy, etc as it was already consumed . Great food to cheer up our day! Highly recommend this cafe if you are in the area! Best food and best staff!!!

Visited while in Petone and decided to go with my usual brunch favourite, the Eggs Benedict with a mochaccino. It was absolutely delicious — served on a homemade English muffin with perfectly cooked eggs and a lovely, rich hollandaise. The mochaccino was excellent as well, easily one of the better coffees I’ve had.nnMy husband ordered the lamb’s fry with bacon, which he really enjoyed, and his soy flat white was one of the best he’s had.nnThe café was quite busy when we visited, but the service was still quick and efficient, which was impressive. A great spot for brunch in Petone — we’d definitely come back!

A buzzing place at one o’clock on a Monday afternoon—clearly a popular spot. Apparently, it’s been a favourite with locals for a long time. Unfortunately, most of the cabinet items had already sold out by 1 pm. It’s a dog-friendly café with very friendly, welcoming staff. We all enjoyed our meal.

As someone on a mission to find the best Eggs Benedict, I decided to try Caffiend for the first time today after reading the reviews—and it absolutely lived up to the hype.nnThe Eggs Benedict was honestly the best I’ve had. The hollandaise sauce was beautiful, rich, and full of flavour. The eggs were perfectly poached, and the bacon was packed with flavour, cooked to that perfect point between crispy and tender. The hash browns were light, crispy, and not oily at all. Even the muffin underneath was amazing—soft, light, and fresh, and it tied the whole dish together beautifulnnThe atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the overall experience was fantastic. Every part of the meal was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious.nnI’ll definitely be back again. This is now my favourite place for Eggs Benedict, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great café experience.

First time here and it was a great experience. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was amazing, and the food and coffee came out so quickly. The staff were super friendly, and both the food and coffee were very good. Would definitely come back!
