We have been here a few times before and always enjoyed getting the breakfast platter...

This is really good place for people who like special drinks. They have a large menu, many different options from desserts, coffee, or a nice gift from Chocolate. Behind the shop is a great place to enjoy a drink and watch the sunset with a view of the sky Tower. Suitable for going with friends, dating or even with your kids with the pastry menu. However, there is no space for them to play. Ambient: 9/10 Price: 10/10 Staff: 9/10 Taste: 8/10 Parking: No
They have changed the menu since the last time we visited. Love their atmosphere which is cozy, charming. There is not much space inside the store so I recommend to make your reservation before coming. Their chocolate drinks and cakes are served beautifully. However the coffee is quite average. On street parking. FYI: got replied from the owner that they don't accept reservations! I am not sure why there were 2 reserved table signs on the 2 tables at the back on the day we visited. Anyways first in first served as the owner said.
Perfect place for a date or for friends and families meet up. Deserts are delicious and fresh with reasonable price. Staffs are welcoming and really helpful.Orders came out quickly for us. There are inside and out side seating available. You will have a great view if you choose outside. The building is rwally stylish and will give you a different out of Auckland feeling.
Kinda disappointing. The menu is excessively large, hard to believe everything is made from scratch on the site. My lava cake wasn't a lava cake. Tasted like chocolate mug cake you make at microwave and nothing pouring out, served in room temperature. Sticky date was simple small bland sponge with butter scotch on top. Tiramisu was more like a cake. Some of the decor is a bit tacky. Wouldn't come back.
What a charming cafe nestled in the heart of Parnell. A perfect sojourn after a busy day, I enjoyed watching people and traffic pass by as I enjoyed my hot chocolate. They know how to make a good hot chocolate! The cafe has a storied history and has been visited by numerous heads of state and other celebrities, including Bill Clinton. I will be returning.
A good spot for chocolate lovers. They not only offer dessert treats but also sell quite a lot of chocolates and candies. Came here a few times with friends, but I found the dessert here is a bit too sweet, which would be more suitable for those who have sweet tooth. Death of Chocolate Sundae tastes all right but with too much whipped cream. However the back of the shop is a beautiful place to sit and chill out with friends.
Great location to sit and have a cup of drink and watch the world go by in tranquility. The hot chocolate is top quality, but I felt the Italian Denso too thick. I had expected to be able to drink from it, but it wasn’t runny enoughmaybe that’s what it’s meant to be. Mistakenly, I ordered a lemon tart to go with it, and it proved a bit too much. I’ll go with just the hot chocolate next time.
This place has an amazing ambience. The dreserts are delicious. Prices are okay considering the standards and the location. Staff members are friendly and customer service is pretty good. Overall prefect place for chill outs and dates.Recommended dishesDeath by Chocolate, Mud Cake
Delicious hot chocolate! Black Forest was like liquid heaven. Server was so sweet and friendly. Atmosphere was so inviting. I can't wait to come back Food: 5/5
Nice place to meet with friends. Hot dark chocolate is okay-ish. However, I am very disappointed about the Kahlua cheese cake because it doesn't taste like the cheese cake at all. Maybe I shouldn't order the desert, should only focus on chocolate.
