OMG, an incredible Indian restaurant serving delicious authentic flavors. So glad my husband and I decided to take a day trip to Rotorua before leaving New Zealand tomorrow. We order or cook Indian food at least 4 out of 7 days, and are quite picky about our Indian meals. Every single dish we ordered from Chimney exceeded our expectations, and service was great! Two thumbs up.
Went with my whānau for a spontaneous dinner out later in the evening on a weeknight. The restaurant wasn't busy and accommodated the 7 of us quickly. We got a selection of food, kid friendly options and banquet option, very well priced. The food was quick, hot and sooo good! The set menu was a great option, it was good value for money; plenty of food, and was delicious. Plenty of options including vegetarian and other dietary requirements.
I've been a few of fancy Indian restaurant but this is the best. Everything was perfect. Not pricy, very reasonable. Also staff was friendly. I really liked here

Highly recommended Indian restaurant. We tried the Chettinad chicken curry and Palak paneer and they were really good. Like every great restaurant, not only was the food delicious, the ambience and service was 5 star too. You would not be disappointed if you choose to dine here.
5 Star rating for the manager and the crew, couldn't really fault the ambience, service or the food. Indian Style Butter Chicken and the Bhuna Chicken are highly recommended-Authentic and delicious. Keep up the great work. Cheers
If you want authentic Indian food this is THE PLACE to go. I have been to other Indian restaurants in Rotorua but none of them had the real authentic Indian taste. I am so glad we came here for dinner. The service is great and the prices are well worth. Will highly recommend.
Best Indian food in town, so delicious. Large delicious portions, fresh ingredients, reasonably priced, fast service. We ate there three times, and had a variety of dishes over three nights, including three different types of naan, side dishes, vegetable dishes, etc. Loved it! Vegetarian options: Tasty and delicious!
Staff was so welcoming being aware of customers needs. Food was not exceptional; presentation, aroma and freshness could be significantly improved for some items. Parking might be an issue for some.
