Amazing food, very authentic. This is nothing like all other Indian food that I've had before. Tastes like heaven. Very generous portion, great value for the price. So fresh and quality. It's a shame if you come to Rotorua and don't try this place. I can't wait to go back. 5 stars are not enough to rate this place.
Forget the fancy end of eat street. Come here for good home cooked style vegetarian food. The spice is on point, but you can dial it up or down, they do it true to origins. It rivals Indian Street food and is probably the best in town. The menu is extensive and the quality is top notch.
Coming from Dunedin where its hard to get authentic indian food, this restaurant proved to be a real treat for me. I ate once and got hooked to the place for my entire stay of 4 days in Rotorua. So many varieties and absolutely delicious food. Biryani, masala dosa and thalis are a must try. Awesome food and great service.
The food was just similar you get in India and taste was authentic. Service was quick as well, must recommend if you are looking to try Indian cuisine , do visit this restaurant in Rotorua, they have never ending options and its so hard to decide what to order and as usual we over ordered but definitely worth it.
Good options for starters and liked the taste too , well presentation, fast service. Mains were ok !! We had a recommendation from someone to try this restaurant, looks quite average from outside but food shouldn’t disappoint you. Did see some other snacks ordered by other people , they were looking tempting. I would Say, loads of options for starters and quick snacks, I would try main course dinner somewhere else !!
The food here is delicious and kid friendly we had a thali which meet we got to try lots of different curry’s and even a sweet. we love that it is all vegetarian highly recommend Vegetarian options: Are all delicious
Just discovered our new regular restaurant. The food here is amazing, full of flavour and authentic Indian food all for a good price. Quick friendly service. Can’t wait to try more off the menu
Well, I don't eat non-vegetarian when I am in Rotorua just because of this restaurant <3. The food is absolute love and the variety of the indian street food that you crave for is unparalleled. The best part is the consistency of taste to what you would have had back home, it ain't tweaked to suit everyone nor it's spiced up enough to burn your taste buds. Kind of the real "authentic" indian food i would say. Service times are fast plus they make their own sweets as well so it's Disneyland for me !
This is the best vegetarian, North Indian food you can get in NZ. Their rotis, naans, baigan ka bhartha and daals are out of this world. The 2 gentlemen that run the joint are very polite and kind. Their chat and Indo Chinese is as good as you can get in India. Shame we have nothing like this in over priced Auckland. Every time we come to Rotorua we come here to eat.
Delicious food, good staff, and a heart-filling portion of meals. Must go and try different Indian cuisine. Budget friendly.Food: 5/5
