A Boutique B&B & Retreat catering for a maximum of six guests. Your Hosts Bill & Judy Clarkson welcome you to their home & hope to make your stay an enjoyable & memorable experience.

The Lodge is set in a very secluded environment high above the Waiau & Hanmer Rivers offering guests:

•Spectacular views from their rooms out across the river to the mountains.

•Outdoor Jacuzzi available at all times.

A ten minute drive takes you to the Alpine Village Hanmer Springs with its renowned hot pools plus many first class cafes and a range of walks & other activities to suit all age groups.

Dinners may be catered for by prior arrangement.

An extra bonus for our guests is to watch Bill do a demonstration & explanation of our working Sheep Dogs.

Nice calm environment in rural France and cosy stay in a jurta. The jurtas could benefit from a way to open ventilation at the top. However, they place need more toilets considering they are shared. Breakfast was very sparse. They have chicken on the farm but not serving eggs. Strange. Since the place is considered eco friendly we are surpriced about the lack of waste sorting and they use of aerosol sprays in the toilets and showers.
Not my best stay. But we have enjoyed fire place and silence !
