Carrington College is home to 240 University of Otago first-year students and is one of Otago's finest Residential Colleges.

Story

Carrington College has always been at the forefront of university-owned student accommodation. Our community is characterised by our amazing location, beautiful grounds, excellent support systems, great food and our exceptional academic results.

We are proud of our College Campus, our academic traditions and successes, and the family atmosphere which has been a hallmark of College life at Carrington.

Carrington offers the best of both worlds being mere minutes from the busyness of campus but set in a peaceful suburban surrounding just below the town belt. The college offers an incredible range of accommodation amongst three hectares of trees and gardens, an Academic programme that is second to none, a culture of striving to succeed and, most importantly, fantastic food!
