All good but kitchen need new cookers not not hot enough I put my fry pan on not cooking steak good. Have take it to my gas cooker cook better. Probably need new stove buyer go to gas elements then no problem. Ather then that all good
Great location. Accomodation abit tired but warm and comfortable. Unfortunately the coffee plunger hadn’t been cleaned and was full of mould. Our restaurant experience was terrible. Took 1 hour and 15 min after ordering before we got our meals. And then the fish meal was rotten. Can’t believe the chef couldn’t smell it when cooking it. They were apologetic but didn’t offer us anything as compensation. Worst restaurant experience ever.
Hi there fellow travelers we booked in for two nights 17-18 check out 19 , paid $210 per night , was allowed early check in as room was free night before ,any way some things that we feel that this was not a 4 star and we are pretty laid back but value for money no way , our observations as follows .n- tv cables weren't plugged in at back had to get staff to come and sort out cables spaghetti junction .n-heater dial just goes around without stopping staff said thats how it always been ,, fire hazard ,staff male not interested in fixing issue .n- cobwebs from top of lamps across roof , wifes asthmatic had to remove ourselves .n-ice box needs defrosting big build up of ice .nBLACK mould in shower between tiles , NO NO , broken window shower latch had to go outside to push window in.n-chairs are budget only made to sit average build also screws are loose under the chairs .n-toilet paper holder loosenNO soap in bathroomsn- Closed sign at reception when it was open . attention to detail staff .n-First impression when we got out of car was that the grounds need a really good tidy up weeds everywhere and concrete black build up making it slippery Hazard n-advertised as 50 channels sky BUT no movie channels . a bit miss leading .n-Dish cloth grey and dirty looking not cleaned .nextraction fan in shower doesn't work .n-pillows are so thin no neck support .nnOn check out gave feed back and list to receptionist and my personal email still have had no response which is a disappointing from Management / owners . if this is one of their rooms what are the others like i say to other guest inspect room before you stay , as this is not up to a 4 star standard ...nnC & T Ballinger
Lovely staff, nice food.nNeeds more power points in the rooms. Very handy place when waiting to use the ferry across Cook Strait
Excellent location if you’re catching the ferry, with a 6 minute drive down the hill to the terminal. Large parking area for our trailer. Rooms and decor are a bit tired but clean and well appointed. Bed very comfy. Staff were super friendly and we had a great dinner in the dining room. There’s road noise from the expressway but wasn’t bad enough to keep us awake. Thanks for an enjoyable stopover.
