Stayed in a Queen Studio, check in was easy, plenty of parking was available. Room was a good size and came fully equipped and clean. Bed was comfortable, only issue really was the height of the shower head, anyone over 6 foot might need to be prepared to bend a little. Heat and pressure were good though. Great location, and super quiet for how close it is to town, stayed on a Friday night and couldn't hear the nightlife from my unit.

Ok you’ve got to stay in the right rooms we stayed at the Edwardian House with the coal range oven and Cottage. Charming and gorgeous. Clean with plenty of space and parking. The bad reviews appear to be for the other rooms which I haven’t stayed in. I loved it and would stay again anytime in those parts.nGreat location, walking distance to the museum and theatres.
The location is great, that's where our stay at the Apollo ended being good. The room 26 was okay in size but all three casement window's where faulty, on two the weights had broken so they wouldn't stay open. The bathroom window was loose in it's frame and in a Wellington breeze rattled extremely loudly. We stuffed toilet paper in the frame so we could leave it open. No Aircon obviously. The kitchenette was a cupboard with a microwave, toaster and hot water jug in it. At floor level where my back doesn't like to go was a tiny fridge. There was no surface to put anything on, other than the 70 centimetre round dining table table. The water supply was the bathroom sink which has a 5 cm. Maximum Depth. A struggle to fill the jug, let alone wash up. The cleaner was asked to vacuum the room as in the condition's crumbs from our toast had escaped the tiny table, but she never did come to do it. Quite frankly it was a great disappointment for us and we had booked a kitchenette so we could enjoy breakfast before going out for the rest of the days.
Efficient service the manager gave me clear instructions to collect key securely after a very long drive from Auckland to Wellington not recommended in one hit - 8 HR clean,spacious.Maybe unfair of me to give 3 stars to location but I'm not a city person,for acess to central Wellington its great.
