Very unusual to find such a authentic French experience in small town New Zealand, but it rates up there with the best in the country. Very well priced for very generous portions of amazingly flavoured food. Great service as well is the final piece of an incredible puzzle.

I have just savoured one of the best and freshest pain au raisin pasties ever! As a retired trained baker confectioner, when you find such exquisite goods you really appreciate them. I shall be returning for lunch on frequent occasions as the menu looks amazing. Thank you and merci

The most authentic French food and wine, and cidre! I've experienced anywhere outside of France. A true French host greets you and takes your order, and presents you with amazing beef bourguignon pie, filled croissants, puddings, or le plat du jour. A special place to eat!

Great service, made our drinks exactly how we asked. Beautifully crafted pastries and cakes with real flavour. Certainly not your carbon copy bakery.

Really good food. The owner is chatty and interesting. All the baking is made here, sometimes its not as perfect in shape and form but always tastes above the norm.
