Bunnings Manukau is genuinely one of the best hardware stores around in terms of range and availability. The store is massive, well-organised, and has just about everything you could need—whether you’re doing a small home repair, a full renovation, or a trade-level job. The shelves are well-stocked, and the layout makes it easy to browse once you get familiar with it. You can spend hours here and still come out with new ideas for your next project.nnBut as much as I love the store itself, the customer service is where it falls short—big time. It’s incredibly difficult to find staff on the floor when you need help. More often than not, they’re either walking away quickly or seem to vanish into thin air when you start heading toward them. It feels like you’re on a bit of a mission just to track someone down. And even when you do manage to get someone’s attention, the help you get is hit or miss. Sometimes you get a knowledgeable team member, but other times the answers are vague, rushed, or just plain unhelpful.nnIt’s a shame because with a store this good, you’d expect the service to match. If Bunnings Manukau could sort out the staffing issue—either by having more people available or ensuring the ones on duty are more approachable and informed—it would easily be a five-star experience.nnFor now, it’s a great place to shop if you already know what you’re looking for. If you need advice or assistance, prepare to be patient… and maybe bring a compass.

Good selection of products, but why are the lines always so long? And the self checkout is barely ever open. Need to do better. Went in for one thing, left 20 mins later because I was in line for that long

I would say it’s 0 review from me, customer service has gone down when needed help no one approaches to help even when asked I had to wait for 30mins someone just came showed the item with out any communication or interest and disappeared quickly I was not able to ask any questions at all about the product. Staff looked never bother it seems they hide around. It’s very frustrating and bad customer service.

Excellent service. I was needing a part for my sander, and the kind lady at the special orders counter was great. She rang the suppliers, checked online, went through some options for me, and was polite and considerate. Thank you for the great service with a smile!
