Brides is a lovely pub with an excellent selection of food and drinks that are very pocket friendly. They staff are very warm and helpful..fun place to hang out on date or with a few friends.

A wee gem of a place and right under our nose all along. Walk past this place but not any more. Generous servings of some great pub dishes, ps try the lamb shanks. Great food done right without the pretence of other similar offerings. Happy to recommend this one

Rated as a pub. Great value for money with meals! brunch Generous portions, and one of the cheapest pubs in Christchurch. Food was straight to the point, up the guts, with no pretentiousness. Nothing to fault there. Service was good. Open early to late, will come back for dinner.

Food was great ~ great value for money. Free pool table when we went and lovely staff. My Dad is super picky but said it's the best steak he's had in ages. He had the eye fillet.

A hidden gem of east chch so close to the central city. Possibly even the best value food and coffee in town. Always clean and the locals are friendly. A must visit.

Nice friendly staff. We had burger and a stake cooked nicely,to ordered all our food was nice. Friendly atmosphere Good price. Serving size were a good size. I'll be back
