My partner and I had been keen to make the move to Nelson and had our eye on a particular apartment block. We'd spoken to Georgina as we knew The Rent Shop looked after some of the apartments there and she kept us in mind when one became available...many months later! We very much appreciated that she had remembered us after all that time. Being from out of town, she quickly organised a virtual viewing for us and was easy going and thorough on our tour and gave us all the information we needed to feel comfortable to make the decision to move. From there she sorted out the necessary paperwork and has made the process easy for us as we look to make the move down to Nelson. We feel she will be an ideal property manager for us, with her clear communication and easy going and personable nature.
We have just moved from Ireland to Nelson and finding a house felt like an overwhelming process. The Rent Shop were so helpful! Prior to arrival we had very helpful communication with Jessica. When we arrived Georgina made finding our home so much less stressful than expected. It was a quick and easy process- sorted in a matter of days. We needed accommodation quickly and Georgina made all efforts to help us out with this. She was understanding of the difficulties when first moving to a new country eg no phone number/bank account and made sure this wasn't a problem. When we got our keys Georgina went above and beyond giving us lots of local information to help us settle in. She was so friendly and we felt very reassured from our first meeting with Georgina. We would highly recommend contacting The Rent Shop, particularly Georgina if planning to rent in the Nelson area, especially if moving from overseas. We love our new home. Thank you!!
The service from Sharon Jeffries Nelson Rent Shop is first rate. Nothing is a problem. She’s obtained me a very high level of rent with great respectful tenants and dealt with the exiting tenants professionally. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and the company’s service.
I rented through the rent shop Richmond for the past year and dealing with Jess Ridge as my agent has been absolutely great. She has been very friendly and professional and has made renting through the rent shop amazing. I highly recommend the rent shop and their exceptional service, I'm very happy with the experience and opportunity to have rented through them.
We have had the pleasure of having Jessica Craik as our rental property manager over the last 1.5 years. She has provided us an exceptional level of professionalism, prompt responses to our every query, friendly manner, and overall very lovely to deal with. Couldn’t recommend having Jessica as a rental property manager more, exceptional experience! Will miss her friendly face once we move out. I was sceptical at first as I never had a property manager before, but through our dealings with Jessica, she was happy to help us every step of the way. I just want to give a huge shout out to Sandra and Jessica from Rent Shop. My tenant had been in my rental for eight years and we had become friends. Boundaries had been crossed and I did not have the assertiveness to approach her when she fell behind in rent - I just let it slide and felt the property was hers and not mine. Because of this I had begun to feel unwell and stressed. A month ago, I reluctantly walked into the Rent Shop Richmond office and in ten minutes of signing up the weight had been lifted. My tenant is now paying on time and the agreed amount, and both her and I have clear boundaries in place and more importantly, we still remain friends. xx
Since moving to Nelson, 4 years ago we have rented our home with the Rent Shop. Our first property manager was great and when she left we hoped we would get someone close to her standards. Georgina Lupton exceeded our expectations. She treats us with respect and utmost professionalism we feel valued as tenants.
