This is a word of advice to anyone who is allergic to or does not want to consume MSG Monosodium Glutamate also called Flavour Enhancer 621nnI recently purchased boerewors, biltong and beef patties from Boerewors NZ's Tauriko shop. At the point of purchase, I did not adequately read the ingredients, and it was only when I got home and later studied the packets that I discovered that all the products that I had purchased contained MSG.nnFor people who have heart conditions like myself, MSG is very bad for us. Yes - I did not read the packet, BUT I would like to see more prominent advisory notices to customers that Boerewors NZ uses MSG in their products because there are a LOT of us out here with heart conditions.

Fresh biltong at amazing prices big 5 is closer to home but I’m not fussed with making the drive to this amazing shop!! Best chilli sticks a droewos iv ever tasted.

This has got to be one of my favourite places to stop on our way through to Whakatane. The biltong is the best I've had so far. Amazing service also.

Our go to Saffa shop for all things yummy.nFriendly helpful staff. Best biltong around. Was a life saver during lockdown.
