Blenheim Bridges Holiday Park

We stayed in campervan for two nights Feb 2025.nPros: Spacious camping ground with a scenic river at the side of the grounds. Check in was friendly and efficient. Traffic noise from bridges was not an issue. We paid $54 per night.nCons: Kitchen/toilet block closest to us was small for the number of people staying, Also very dated and in need of upgrade. Cleaning of the block needs improving, the bathroom facility was always wet on floors and sinks and lighting was poor. One of the two washing machines had a thick ring of scum at the top of the bowl. There was civil works occuring to the main thoroughfare during our stay. The.place.meeds a decent upgrade.

Stayed in a cabin with kitchen and shared bathroom for 2 nights. For the reasonable price we paid it was ok. Bathroom was fairly clean and small private kitchen in room had what you needed. The mattress was awful though- springs have definitely gone - needs replacing. Decor is dated and some things are broken but still working that have not been changed. Could do with more socket points in the room.

We brought my parents caravan away for four nights over the Christmas holidays.nnThe owner was lovely and sorted a small issue we had very quickly.nnFacilities were mostly tidy and the cleaners were actively cleaning throughout the days.nI recommend to wear jandals/slides in the showers just for health and safety.nnWhile there was a bit of traffic due to the bridge that is by the powered/non powered sites, it was mostly quiet and peaceful.nnWe definitely recommend staying there. Good value for money and a lovely area. Not a lot to do in Blenheim but is close enough to Nelson etc.nnThank you for having us!

Price was Ok but facilities were old and not in good condition. WiFi was awful didn’t work unless you stand by the reception and limited to 1 Gb a day. Also directly under the flight path of the airport and next to a busy street. Oh and there is construction so we could only exit between 10-10:30 or before 8am. Stay away!

Really bad smellnWe couldn’t sleep because the whole room was smelling peenI will not talk about the bed or the room because I can understand what you are paying you are receiving but at least a better hygiene just the minimumnIt was under my partner’s namenP.s. We stayed there only one night we arrived at 6 pm and we went to sleep at 8pm that time we realised that the bed was smellingnAt that time the reception was closed so we were not able to ask to change a room or to report that!nI’m editing the last one because the holiday park said that I was wrong
