Bike Otago is passionate about all bikes, be it a MTB, Commuter, Road Bike, Electric bike, Fixie-skidder, BMX, recumbent, vintage, or anything else with two (or three) wheels ...

Our focus is in the workshop, so if you have an issue with your bike you can't resolve, bring it into us to be fixed. Likewise, if you have an upgrade in mind, let us put a quote together for you; we can usually match or beat the best prices on the internet.

Good place for serving when you look old enough to purchase a bike service. Went there a few years ago now with a warehouse bike and the person I went up to didn't look that pleasant with that since I brought in a bike that was less than $400. Rim brakes seemed expensive for what I paid for, I only wanted the back done I said that still did both front and rear brakes, so I had to get parents to pay for the extra amount I wasn't intending to pay.
Visited a few bike shops today to have a quick fix for broken pedal crank arm. At Evo a suitable used part was found and replaced within minutes. This bargain price fix saved the remaining 4 weeks of our NZ trip. Big thanks for excellent service.
Great honest service. Did what was asked and offered good advice. Didn't try to sell me a tyre after I asked if the tread was sufficient, others would have tried to convince me to buy one. I will be back to Evo to purchase once I am ready.
Absolutely phenomenal service. James and Nathan in the service centre work tirelessly to make sure everyone has their rides as soon as possible. It's pretty obvious that all the bike mechanics in town are overworked so we're lucky to have their services. They've been working on a custom project for me with lots of changes throughout. They've spent time educating me and helping me understand the process despite their increased workload. Rhys and Phil are also great and been able to help me find whatever I'm looking for. Though I'm sure the team is pretty tired of me, they haven't once expressed as much, despite how much I ask from them. Thanks guys!
Great customer service. 5 year old son somehow broke his front brakes after having his bike for a month. Staff replaced within 10 mins. Highly recommend this store
Absolutely legendary service and customer service was on point. After walking into the shop describing exactly what I needed for my Son and could not be happier.
Got my bike serviced a couple weeks ago. I had to book in an appointment 2 weeks in advance for the work as they were busy. At the time I asked if the service could be done in one day as I'm a commuter cyclist and needed my bike to get home. I was told yes. I asked the same question again when I dropped it off the morning of servicing otherwise I would have rebooked and was told yes it would be done before closing. I was called at 4pm that day to talk about the bike and was still told it was highly likely to be finished before closing. I waited in town for more than an hour after I'd finished work to pick up my bike. Not only was it not finished the same day, but they didn't even have the courtesy to call and tell me it wouldn't be finished so I could make other plans to get home that evening. It was a huge waste of my time and I won't be going back.
Came in to sort a return/exchange for a product I bought online. The staff member who served me was helpful and got it all sorted out in a timely manner, thanks!
The service is shocking in here. Brought my daughter a new bike plus a few extras bits. Never got a "thank you" or "enjoy your ride" Bunch of snobs.
Lovely prices, and a good range of variety to choose from. They have all the good quality brands, but their essentials are cheap. No sense having to constantly pay out top dollar even after the purchase of a bike.
