Really is the best sushi place in Auckland. By far my favourite. Great sushi and great udon! Affordable prices and really good service. I always come here when I’m looking for lunch in Takapuna. The wait time for udon is very fast. It’s also really nice to dine in and there is complimentary green tea and iced water. Really friendly staff too! Overall 10/10 one of my favourite food places! X

Ordered the Don buri today teriyaki chicken. Disgusting low effort preparation, chicken old like it’s been sitting in fridge for a week then reheated. Big gross chunks too with tendon still attached. Rice below average. Salad is also depressing 4-5 leaves of mesclun. By far the worst donburi I’ve had ever of all time.

Clean, fresh, tasty and authentic kiwi-Japanese food. The taste excels other Japanese food restaurants in Takapuna-Devonport region. Highly recommended. A+++++

Don't bother ordering donburi you just get chicken, spinach and rice. Actually tastes so average its not worth spending your money.

I go there 2-3 times a week for lunch as it's close to where i work. my favorite is raw salmon Nigirizushi - meaning "hand-pressed sushi" and misu. it's absolutely fresh made , in fact they make it just at the back. price was it is fair. and their customer service is spot on. after having my first sushi there couple of years ago or so i don't like eating sushi anywhere else. if you prefer to eat there they have a nice seating place outside and you can have free warm green tea...

The worst spicy chicken donburi! No vegetables or salad included. Wouldn't even call it spicy chicken it was just plain fried chicken, its like they forgot a whole bunch of stuff to add to my bowl. Would not go back or recommend to others
