Best Ugly Bagels

Great place for brunch or lunch. Lots of different topping options, from sweet to savoury. My favourite is the salmon and cream cheese option, but I’m always up to try their toastie turnover when it’s on as well. They also do a decent coffee. They have seating outside of the store, all of which looks quite eclectic and funky. A great quick meal on the go.

What we ordered: - Mean Joe Green $16.9 - Boss Hog $17.9 These bagels were really delicious and great to get any time you're feeling snacky. The bacon on the mean Joe Green was heaped on top which could only ever ensure that this would be a good bagel. The fattiness and saltiness of the bacon was cut through with the avocado and the thin slices of tomato really well and just made for a great pick me up in the middle of the day. The Boss Hog had cheese melted onto a fried egg on top of bacon and a really sweet rocket sauce creating such a nice balance of sweet and savoury. Maybe not the cheapest bagels but definitely just really tasty

Came during off peak hours. Spacious place outside with a bit of rustic decor. Bagels are delicious.

These aren't really ugly at all - but very delicious! We got the Mean Joe Green, the King, the TAB, and the white rabbit. These aren't those monstrous New York bagels, but fresh baked soft and chewy bagels topped with great combos. Each is split and each half is topped with yummies so it's like two open faced sandwiches! All our combos were tasty!!! We had them to go but there is covered seating right outside the shop. Situated in a strip mall, parking is right here!

Best Ugly Bagels is my go-to spot when I'm in need of a hangover cure or just craving a delicious bagel. The bagels are consistently fresh and loaded with toppings. They're not the prettiest bagels you'll ever see, but that's what makes them so great. They're "ugly" in the best way possible. The staff is always friendly and the service is quick. I love that you can customize your bagel with a variety of spreads and toppings. My personal favorite is the Mousetrap, which is marmite and melted cheese. It's the perfect combination and a total vibe. I've been going to Best Ugly Bagels for years and it never disappoints. Whether I‘ve got friends visiting town or just craving a good bagel, this spot always saves the day. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

I’m a regular customer at the best ugly bagel Wellesley street. However today I had the worst experience ever! I was served by an extremely rude and blunt staff member. He was wearing an orange beanie, and had a tattoo sleeve. He didn’t smile or say hello, when I placed my order he did not even let his co workers know, and when one of them asked what the order was he replied with “JC and I forgot the other one” while I was standing right there. As far as I remember this isn’t “Karen’s diner” so I don’t understand why he was so rude to me. If anything whenever I go there I go for the fun experience where they yell out your order and create an excitement. Very very disappointing service and I am extremely dissatisfied.

Nice environment and freshly made bagels I like the food quality but just a little pricey. Not many seats available. Can be quite cold during the winter

The bagel was really nice for hand rolled and wood fired, but I'm not sure a would pay $19 for a salmon bagel again.

Always a great experience at Best Ugly Bagels. Best bagels, good coffee and always a great vibe / energy from the staff. Eugene & Johnathan at Newmarket are legends.
