Red Earth Bistro & Wine Bar

A great place to feel fancy without breaking the bank! Started off with my apple juice drink, which I never thought would feel fancy but it did! Loved all their food. It was all vibrant and fresh. Service was good, too. Would definitely go back again.

Such a great meal here in Papakura. The salad with the candied walnuts was very delicious, and it was very fresh! The pork special - the marinade/sauce is so tasty. The chicken main was cooked so well, paired well with the cheeses in the dish. Had to end the meal with a dessert, the panna cotta, which didn't disappoint either. All servings were generous, and great service to top it all off.

It’s a neat little place in Papakura town. Went there for our anniversary. Staff are lovely. We ordered lamb dishes, they were also able to accommodate our 5 year old and provided a colouring sheet with a kids menu which was great! The slow cooked lamb was tasty had good flavour. The skewer lamb was okay , it was a bit dry. The meatball appetisers were delicious. Overall nice experience. Kids meal was fish which was not cooked, but they responded well and replaced it with chicken nuggets. So good save.

What can i say , thank you Shiva for making my partner feel very special with that amazing birthday song , and it goes without question the food was amazing , service was amazing , a gem of a place in Papakura....This is the second but not the last time we will be dining there , im still buzzing how you went to the trouble of making our visit so special .

Beautiful meal, lamb shank and gravy, potato, side dishes of broccoli and brussel sprouts. Service was excellent, was told about the specials of the night. Nice, clean and very quiet, inside you dont realise that the main road is just out the front door. A great relaxing meal with family.

100% amazing restaurant! The atmosphere is very minimalistic and intimate. The wait staff were delightful and friendly. As for the Christmas set menu... AMAZING everything we tried was so delicious. The portions were perfect! And the 2 desserts I tried Citron tart & eggnog creme brulee were absolutely mouth watering. Definitely a spot to check out if you are local. Save a trip into the city and try this spot closer to home. Great spot 10/10 Vegetarian options: Every menu has a selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options Wheelchair accessibility: Everything all on one floor. Ramp down to bathrooms. Simple layout with wide walkways.

Had the most amazing family friendly dining experience at red Earth bistro and wine bar. The food was amazing had the best meal I have ever had ever was just mouth watering. The staff were super friendly and catered to all. Would recommend to everyone for a perfect and romantic date or for a family celebration. 11/10 in all areas A+++++++

We had a family birthday here tonight for a 19y/o, there was 12 of us. Venue was nice, the staff delivered reasonable service. The food was above average, there was a very long wait for the meals. Expect to pay 30 to 40 dollars per head. These guys have the making of a Great food experience but are in serious need of Gordon Ramsay coach to find tune there skill set. I will eat here again in hope that we see a higher standard from a more then capable team. Sorry guys 3 stars tonight.
