Berrylands has now been sold and is now part of Farm Fresh, McShanes Road.

Story

We are looking forward to seeing you at Berrylands!
During the season you can come and leisurely pick your own boysenberries, raspberries and strawberries or buy a pack off the shelf.
While you are here enjoy one of our real fruit icecreams and smoothies. We have options for the dairy and gluten free diets as well.
Berrylands isn't only about berries, we also have a full range of fresh fruit and vegetables and are also an outlet for the beautiful Elovi Olive Oil and a little gift shop displaying local crafts and health food items.
Come and relax in our picnic area with an icecream or coffee and watch the kids play in our fenced in playground.

Pick your own or buy packed boxes of various berries. Also offers fresh fruit ice cream, yogurt and sorbet. They offered PYO for raspberries and boysenberries when we visited. However I found the fruits on the farm either very small and not yet ripe.
Pick your own berries here: boysenberries, strawberries, raspberries, karakaberries! Just no blueberries. Nice experience with berries fresh off the bushes, they even provide tips for how to pick the right berries. Enjoy real fruit ice cream or yogurt in waffle cone or cups at the many benches around the shop too
I spent 1/2 an hour with a little friend picking Boysenberries, then we had a MASSIVE fresh fruit ice cream, and bought some most delicious strawberries.
Everything is good, but ice cream is so amazing and delicious. Huge thanks for the great and helpful staff.
Great place to pick berries strawberries, raspberries, boysenberries, karaka berries and peas. Good price too. Make sure you get a real fruit ice cream or frozen yoghurt!
Got a delicious real fruit ice cream here, worth the 15 minute wait!! Didn't pick berries though, as boysenberries were the only available ones.
This was a great experience. Although I didn’t pick berries, it was great. Easy to access and plenty of parking. A piece of advice: avoid peak times, as the ice cream pick up lines get long.
Beautiful flavours in the fresh picked boysenberries and fridge stored strawberries, but found the former a bit left to their own devices, not enough water which resulted in those ripe enough to be too dry and not edible anymore, maybe boysenberry season is really short and they were past their prime already?
A neat experience for the family. Berries and peas were our lot for the day rounded out with a fresh berry yoghurt. Easy to find and easy to park with easy to follow signage.
Definitely a gem during our trip to Nelson. Many different berries to PYO. The strawberries on the fridge shelf was so huge, fresh and juicy. Go for waffle cone berries ice cream. You will not regret!
