Just had lunch here! The sushi was excellent; flavorful, fresh. The nigiri was perfect... gushing it was so good. Will be back - definitely my new lunch spot for sushi.
Came here on a whim when I noticed it walking by, so I decided to come in to grab a quick bite. So glad I did, I found the sushi to be great, with good presentation as well as decently dressed. The staff was courteous and attentive and the pricing was decent. I would find myself coming back here. EDIT: I came back the next day to try some other dishes I had my eye on and they were just as good.
So delicious and fresh! The owners and staff are so friendly and happy to answer any questions you have on the menu. Their menu has the classics but they also offer affordable sushi platters that are perfect for events and parties and also delicious apps like shumai and takoyaki. Love their convenient downtown Stamford location and will be making this my new sushi spot!

I never write reviews, but I was really impressed with this place. Some of the best sushi I have ever had, and the customer service was amazing. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is a sushi fan. Very extensive menu with so many options. There is definitely something for everyone. Will definitely come again.
I was looking forward to trying a new sushi spot in Stamford. The place was hyped up in recent 5 star reviews which I’m now questioning the legitimacy of, but ultimately was a huge let down. If you’re looking to dine in, go elsewhere. You have to order the food yourself at the counter and you don’t even get free water, you’re forced to buy a bottle of it. The shumai and Kani salad was decent, hence the 2 stars, but it stops there. The sushi didn’t taste fresh at all, the rice was old and the ingredients were underwhelming. Even the cucumber tasted like it’s been sitting in the fridge for weeks. They advertise a combo special 4 regular rolls and 1 special roll for $40, but they don’t tell you that you can’t even pick the specific rolls in your order until you start ordering it. Lastly, the place is super heavy on plastic which seems wasteful. Plastic cups for soy sauce, plastic water bottles, etc. Just wanted to leave an honest review amongst the raving 5 star reviews.
Sushi places don't normally have a ton of vegetarian options but Bentto has a whole section and it's not a short list. And it was all super tasty!
Great service, and kind people. Food is delicious and fresh! My partner is vegan and I love all the options they have here. They have a nice outdoor seating area in front of the restaurant too!
Nice cute little place with great food and good prices. Tried tempura chicken roll, lobster roll and shitake-chicken gyoza. Amazing food. Must try.
