Service was great, food not so much. We ordered Gaucho burger, Pao de queijo Brazillian cheese bread balls, Fried chicken and Loaded nachos. Brazillian cheese bread balls were delicious but everything else was ok.
Had lunch at Bebemos a couple of times to date. Spacious venue with both indoor and covered outdoor seating, friendly service, good selection of beverage and serving food with Latin influences. Had their Dom Pedro WOAP burger with matching Garage Project Chipper beer $36 and Feijoada $25 today. Juicy chicken burger with halloumi, greens and hot sauce accompanied with potato tots, great washed down with the hazy beer. Feijoada is one of my favourite Brazilian dishes though not a fan of the Bebemos' version with wild meats as it made the dish taste quite gamey plus lack of collard greens and only 1 slice of orange makes it a challenge to consume all of the rich stew. Parking: Parking nearby the restaurant can be a challenge due to it being located in the busy Newtown shops/village area
We took the kids down for lunch, luckily before it got busy. Plenty of great kids options, so they are keen to come back again. And next time, they might be able to count all the flamingoes in the separator. Special mention for the Toastie Takeover. Deep fried haloumi is a brilliant idea.
I ordered the feijoada which I really enjoyed. The portion was pretty big, and was struggling to finish it towards the end. Especially because the stew is quite rich. I like that it came with a slice of orange but I wish it came with a bit more orange? Other than that the Bebemos staff were really nice and explained the dish to me. I also ordered one of their mocktails which I loved.
We had a wonderful experience doing the bottomless brunch! A great variety of options for food and drink, with super accommodating waitstaff. Anna served our group and she was honestly amazing! We had some dietary restrictions and she was extremely understanding and friendly. Our food was all fantastic, and I will absolutely be recommending to friends!
Lovely visit to this quirky little Cafe/bar. Delicious Fried Chicken and Calamari. Good range of craft beers available. Ask Jade what he recommends or tell him what you like and he'll sort you out. Cheers Jade.Food: 5/5
I don’t give reviews but felt like I had to for this! We had a wonderful night tonight at Bebemos, their staff were super lovely and accommodating towards our table! My daughter has aspergers and doesn’t enjoying going out to eat very often due to her dietary requirements, stutter and slow speech. The girl at the bar was amazing, she didn’t try to speak to my daughter through me, but was patient with my daughter and spoke to her directly, explained the menu and what options they could provide. She was cheery and bubbly all night and it didn’t go unnoticed. Usually bar staff are rude or impatient with us, making our experience very lacking and making my daughter feel extremely embarrassed. Gutted we couldn’t remember her name but the server was amazing throughout the whole night to us. This was the first night my daughter felt confident and had a great time out in ages! Other restaurants should take a page from their book! We’ll definitely be back soon! Thanks again Bebemos!
The food was excellent and the craft beer available was also top notch. The staff were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Actually, the food was better than excellent. It was bloody marvellous. Recommend
Was really looking forward to dining back here in Bebemos. Food is good, service left much to be desired. After being seated they told us the wait time for food was max 30-40 minutes. The food actually came out after an hour. My mate and I were starving by this point. They even forgot one of our orders. Cherry on top was the lady at the till made it felt like it was our fault they forgot one of our orders! Really?! We just needed an apology for the terrible wait times but we got some attitude. Safe to say we will need a very good reason to come back here.
The food was excellent and we had a sparkling wine also Food: 4/5
