Beachgrove Holiday ParknnThe location is convenient but right next to a busy main road, which detracts from the experience. The grounds feel overcrowded, primarily with temporary international workers who occupied most of the camping space and spent the night being loud and drinking. This created a rowdy atmosphere that’s far from ideal for young families looking for a quiet getaway.nnThe facilities are mediocre—the showers are functional but not great, and the kitchen is far too small for the number of guests.nnAdding to the frustration, the women at reception seemed far too relaxed and disorganized, not appearing on top of anything. Pricing was also inconsistent; we were quoted one price over the phone but charged differently upon arrival, with staff dismissing our concerns.nnAt $20 per person, this park is overpriced and poorly managed. I’d recommend finding a more family-friendly and professional place to stay.
Beautiful campground. Has everything you could possibly need like multiple kitchens, toilets, showers, laundry, bbqs and more, it’s even right across the road from the beach. Everyone there including the workers and campers are so lovely, helpful and social. The staff made sure we were comfortable where we were and even double checked whether we wanted a more private site or if we were happy to have other campers around us. For $20 a night, we will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Tauranga and would recommend to anyone passing through. Thank you for the very welcoming stay!
20 years ago a nice camp in a great location, now very run down. Obviously little maintenance done over the years. Sites were poorly kept and sealed driveways broken up. Sad to see such a valuable asset neglected.

Paid $20pp for one night in an unpowered campsite. Great location and just across the street from the beach 10 min walk. Friendly staff. The car campsites were extremely close together though.
