Having spent 5 weeks on n the South and North Island in some nice hotels, some not as great, each Front Resort topped them all for me. Lovely helpful staff, loved the freedom to manage our own room with towels, replacement refreshments all in the laundry room to take as required. Such a refreshing change from being bothered by staff. Perfect views and access to the beach and sea. Thank you Rooms: The room was just lovely. Beautiful view, nice kitchen area, microwave etc and a good supply of cutlery and crockery. Lovely space with table. Big king size bed and archway to further bedroom with 2 single beds. If not used, lovely for cases. Nice shower and bathroom. Walkability: Easy access to the beautiful beach. Other amenities a bit of a walk. Noteworthy details: Perfect sea views. Lovely garden area, very friendly first impressions! and genuinely kind and helpful at any time during the stay.
Just about perfect! When we walked into the room, first floor, our breath was taken away by the view! The apartment had everything that we needed for 3 nights. We loved Whitianga which was probably our favourite stop over our entire 5 week tour of NZ.Rooms: 5/5
Absolutely phenomenal stay, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful even helping us take some kayaks up from the beach. True to its name it is right on the beach! The rooms are very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Lots of ammenities kayaks, boogie boards, toys, trampoline, hot tub, BBQ area etc., perfect for families. There is a wonderful, relaxing vibe, 10/10 recommend!
We loved staying here. The accommodation itself was really nicely decorated, super clean, and has all the facilities you could need. The property it right on the beach and only a short walk into the town. Perfect place to stay if you're looking to relaxRooms: 5/5
Great location. Good accommodation right on the beach. But, very bad TV connection Walkability: 25 minutes walk along the beach takes you to the town center
Exactly what it says. It's right on the beach. Very comfortable apartment. The rooms are not serviced during stays of 7 days or less; but honestly it's not required. Facilities were more than adequate for a short stay. A 30 minute walk or 4 min drive into town where there are plenty of shops bars and restaurants. We loved our short stay here, and if it wasn't so far from England we'd be back for a repeat performance. Highly recommended.
So glad we chose this gem when we stayed down in Whitianga for a 2 night getaway! Was so peaceful hearing the waves, awesome how this place provides free use of kayaks / life jackets. Spa was amazing! 10/10 See you next time :
Unit 8 was well appointed. We cooked most nights and the kitchen was great. 2 adults and a 4yo. If the weather had been sunny we could have made such good use of the kayaks and other beach gear! We scootered into town to eat lunch, otherwise we mostly stayed at the accomodation for 5 nights. Great to have access to the trampoline and spa! Only wish that we had free access to washing machine and dryer given price we paid. We had to pay for use of both…
Extremely clean unit. Wifi reception in bedroom is weak. Entry door has 20mm floorgap which allows carpark noise and cold air into the hallway.Apart from that all good.Rooms: 4/5
