Cooks Beach Resort

All staff are so welcoming and approachable. We arrived early because of the weather and they made us check in early. The whole resort was clean and facilities are well organized. When we checked out they made us stay while we enjoyed the pool. We are satisfied for what we payed for. Looking forward to our next holiday stay here.Rooms: 5/5

Such a nice place. All new and well looked after. Disability toilets and showers x2 available which was so lovely. Customer service was lovely. Camping spots are large and grounds well looked after.Service: 5/5

The camp site was huge so that was a bonus. Down side is that they have no activities for children, also no shop onsite which I think is useful for peak season. Keep having to leave the park and visit the local dairy. Showers not that great specially the old block, pressure is soft, hot and cold comes and goes. Also the middle part between the M and F toilets should be closed off for privacy. Newer block is fine. Otherwise the camp site is highly recommended. Friendly Staff, park is clean and toilets.

The grass was very soft medium length and lusciously green. Very nice owner friendly and extremely helpful - even when we overstayed our welcome. Bathrooms were kept exceedingly clean was a shame about the company I had but was a great time anyway!Service: 5/5

Good New Years stay. Only lost a star as the toilets and showers needed more cleaning over this busy period.

This place is phenomenal! Owners are fantastic, great care and expertise has gone into the design and outlay of the property. 100% fully recommend and definitely returning Photo shows the studio rooms, 5 which surround and have their own courtyard, bbq, shady tree and picnic tables. Perfect for groups and socializing. Love love it here

Good experience and we'll maintained spaces and facilities. We stayed in a cabin which was clean and tidy with double glazed windows and doors. With 4 adults and 2 young children it was tight, so would be hard if you had the advertised max of 8 in the one cabin. Pool and Spa were both great with the kids and kept very clean and tidy. Additional toddler pool was a great depth and really helped cater for the whole family. Close location to the beach and shops which were only a few minutes walk away. We did ask for early check-in due to a drive from wellington with young kids and found some of the communication was great and others were quite direct and not very accommodating. However we did stay in peak season which means they were very busy. Staff onsite and during our stay were very friendly and happy to help where they could.

Had a great time here. We stayed over the super busy period. The wifi didn't really work but hey, it was Summer and there was 500 odd people there. The cabin was great, only complaint being the weather was so good sun all day that the cabin would heat up all day and leak it out into the room all night. And with no fan/aircon it was hard to sleep. But I mean overall great, good pool, easy friendly helpful staff.

Amazing facilities and campsite, I would have given it a 5 star rating but unfortunately our campsite was right next to the kids local hang out spot and the amount of foul language and excessive noise that come from there was not ideal as we had 2 small kids. It wasn’t a very relaxing stay but that’s no fault of the resort. Maybe don’t rent that campsite out in future as it’s not fair on the camper to endure constant foul language and noise coming from that spot.

Amazing campground, very tidy with clean facilities and lovely pool&spa. The manager was most accommodating. We'll definitely be back!
